Living the High Life at Half the Price!

Getting Started

Go from “No” to “Pro” in 5 Easy Steps:

Gather, Organize, Plan, Learn, Manage… it’s that simple!

1) Gather Coupons

Your Sunday Newspaper is a fantastic starting point.

Newspaper Subscriptions

You can also print coupons from sources like:

Coupons are also found on Facebook and Twitter, believe it or not!

2) Organize Coupons

Everyone is different. Some wear thongs, others like full coverage, guys even wear them like shorts. Coupon organization is as personal as your underwear style. Here are my two favorite methods:

3) Plan Your Trip

  • Use the Grocery Ads matched with coupons in the Coupon Database for your favorite store. These are found under “In Your City
  •

  • Don’t see your city?
  • Use a city that’s in or near your region i.e. Southeast, Midwest, etc.

  • Why is this important?
  • Because coupons and sale prices are different in each city/region. The ads found on the Atlanta page are made up of Atlanta sale prices and Atlanta coupons. I’m a stickler for accurate information and this is my attempt to better serve you!

4) Learn “Good” Prices

Feel free to print my list of “Good Prices” after coupons to know when to strike on a sale item.

Your prices/deals may vary and this is just a guide… not a guarantee!

5) Manage Your Budget

New to using coupons?

I recommend spending 60% of your grocery budget on necessities and 40% on stockpiling.

An old pro?

Your % should be flipped.  60% on stockpiling and 40% on necessities.

What on earth is stockpiling? That’s the art of buying an item when, at it’s lowest price and with a coupon, is crazy cheap and affordable in large quantities.

I’ll let you define “large quantities” for yourself {Extreme Couponing} but remember- it will be on sale again! I prefer buying 6-10 of an item when it’s crazy cheap.
